Jerusalem to Los Angeles

My wife and I heard from the Lord to take our children to Israel to seek Him before we launch Fragrant. No agenda, no tour… just to seek Him. The trip has filled journals and chalked up our bibles but this blog post is to share about our revelation of God’s heart for prayer and prayer houses.

With no agenda, walking into a foreign country without connections or information… the next thing we know, we find ourselves at a Shabbat dinner in a private prayer house and then in a watch tower overlooking Jerusalem praying a watch over America.

This is a map on the wall in the watch tower. Jerusalem sits at the center of the earth. The gates around the old city point to a region on the earth. The prayer house marks the floors, walls, and ceiling accordingly and prayer is divided by gate and time.

The Lord is teaching us about His heart for prayer houses!

This aligns with the visions we have received of a prayer house that overlooks Hollywood. A place constantly worshiping and interceding for culture. One that doesn’t leave the throne room. A lighthouse on a hill that builds up and prophesies over the influencers of culture.

As I reflect on the trip and all the things the Lord orchestrated beyond our ability, I am affirmed of His heart for this. We cannot share more detail with you about this place because it is in a rather dangerous location but that was apart of the awe. The way it is thriving in secret still shocks me, truthfully I am still processing all of this.

The best part? It is beyond our ability to afford so it would HAVE TO BE OF HIM. Please pray with us about the future of a place for Fragrant to dwell in.
